I am usually somewhat leery of Allred, but I completely agree with her on this. A 25 year old sexually grooming a 14 year old girl is not a “sex scandal”, it’s a potential crime. She’s a potential victim if anything happened, not a mistress in a cheating scandal.

Let’s not pretend that Tyga doesn’t have a history with underage girls. And let’s not call this a “sex scandal.” It’s grooming, plain and simple.

As someone who also teaches in the college classroom, I’ll first say don’t beat yourself up too much over #2; I too have had a lot of moments in the classroom when I feel I really failed to help students interrogate something racially loaded. I think it’s something you get slowly better at, with practice.

I’d say the reason against this is that the reasons for Jdate or a similar website for black singles is that on a conventional dating website the majority of people on there are already white people. I doubt it’s hard for white singles to find white singles on OKCupid or Match.
