I was 8 at the time when I first gave it a go if that helps, and it did actually scare me as well as being this heavy metal adrenaline pumping shoot em up. I dreaded the spider demon and invisible pinkies. Doom 3 had a very strong mix of the two feelings. I always felt dread, but I was always pumping barrels of lead

I have a bad feeling about Doom 4. I feel like Doom 3 was the proper evolutionary step for the series to take. It still had slam bang shotgun blastin corridor shooting, but it also scared the shit out of me. These are the exact feelings the original Doom instilled in me when I was a child. Everything I've read from

Now I can buy up the logo for my own personal company, Three Sheets!

Walking simulators have straight up become my favorite new genre. Proteus, Eidolon, NaissanceE, Lifeless Planet, Dear Esther, Gone Home, etc. These games have all been incredible experiences. Do not doubt the beauty that is the walking simulator. I lovingly refer to them as Explore 'Em Ups.

Bahaha Kinja karma.

You're a mean one, Mr. John
