It’s funny to me (not really) how these types of Black men who accuse powerful Black women like Oprah of anti-Black male bias for calling out misogynistic behavior by prominent Black men (e.g. Simmons, Bill Cosby and R. Yeah, I saw it in Manhattan (it was not screened for press in the U.S.), and while I used AMC Stubs for my ticket, I brought my kid and hers was indeed $5. In Manhattan!! They don’t even to matinees after noon!

It’s pretty obvious that the criticism is rooted in the editor-in-chief taking issue with the movie inventing something defamatory about one of their former employees and not because he only wants likeable female characters.

I sympathize with his mental health struggles, truly, I do. However, if you are very sensitive to opinions about your work and life, maybe being a famous stand-up comedian who publicly dates very famous women is not the right life for you.
