Ah, I got ya. I don't disagree, but Donny Yen has been killing it lately by consistently putting out good films. I think CG and the rise of XMA has probably played a role in why a lot of the newer martial arts films can't compare to those of the past.
The way people are acting, you'd think the US version was the worst game on the NES. The differences are very minor and the cosmetic ones were restored in 'All-Stars' so I still think it's silly to praise the Japanese version as better despite bugs that look game breaking to me.
But not many schools push this line of thinking.
