I was in the beta way back when. It was my second MMO, but I sunk a whole lot of time into and it still holds a special place for me. Hell, this game was a large reason I got back into comic books. This and the DCAU stuff.

I think the PSX was seen as more "grown up" maybe. Also, the graphics may have turned people off in comparison. Sprites were last gen, but this polygon shit is the future!
