The Iron Man vibe at the end of Black Panther was not lost on me. Leaving the theater all I could think about was how Marvel just positioned Black Panther and Chadwick Boseman as the feature leader of the MCU who will carry the franchise forward into the next phase. I can’t wait.

The Jones Act is terrible. It’s a major reason that Puerto Rico is bankrupt. The island could be a major shipping and trading hub, but it’s precluded from earning a living. Then what is supposed to drive its economy? Tourism alone isn’t enough.

Where does one get a copy of the restored color version?

Warner Bros. didn’t make any of the old Superman movies. They were independent productions made by the Salkinds, who licensed the rights from DC. Warner Communications, WB’s parent corporation, distributed the movies, but the studio never showed any interest in the movies. They didn’t even blink when the Salkinds sold

I think WHM guys coined it in reference to some shitty movie i don't remember, but Ready Player One is a book for guys who wear those "Mario/Homer as Tony Soprano" shirts in public.

Someone on the Avocado posted a spoken word poem from Ernest Cline that makes him seem like a really icky, immature person (45 years old is too fucking old to be such a goddamn titty baby), so… yeah. I'm not real hyped for this movie.
