The stock down 52% in the past 5 years. You can’t even point at Boeing directly for an assassination conspiracy, it could be down single person who lost money and wanted to take it out on him. So, the list of those with a motive is pretty long.
There’s upside and downside to fleet driver, opens new tab, monitoring. It provides a certain ammount of protection for the employee, opens new tab, as much as a panopticon, opens new tab, for the employer.
Lies!
Good, fuck em.
I would love to see some actual data about trends in malfunctions or other issues, because right now it’s very hard to tell if the situation is “Boeing/airlines have been lax in their maintenance and it’s coming to a head” or if it’s more of “Malfunction rates are staying fairly consistent, but thanks to a single high…
Can’t wait for all the smooth brained idiots to blame Boeing for turbulence and pilot error.
When the head of Nikola lied about his truck, he was prosecuted and sent to prison. When is Elon facing this?
Except, no, because it’s not like a transmission switching between forward and reverse. Electricity doesn’t care if the load is caused by having to pull an object, versus having to go up a steep hill. Load is load.
What’s the (friction / rolling resistance) difference between the tow-ee being in park vs the tow-ee actively pulling in the other direction?
Its notable that according to the OIG, “$4 billion per flight” number for SLS comes from the entire R&D of the rocket through Block 1B + ESA contribution + maintaining NASA facilities all divided over the first 4 launches. This sandbags the numbers and if you applied the same methodology to commercial development it…
I don’t buy into the notions of extracting resources to bring back to Earth, nor colonizing Mars. There’s no conceivable situation where it would be even cost effective and/or an efficient use of resources.
There are a lot of grocery stores out there that sell the same items for different prices from location to location and a lot of dealers that have a one price sales model. A grocery store could sell eggs for a different price if they wanted to, that is what being a retailer means. You can sell anything you want for…
We buy pretty much everything from a retailer, even larger purchases like appliances, HVAC equipment, raw materials like lumber, drywall, screws. You name it and you have probably bought it from a retailer. Even house purchases have middlemen, aka realtors and/or brokerages.
So then you agree that literally every retail outlet is an antiquated model? I don’t buy my eggs from the farmer all the time or the milk from the dairy or pretty much anything from the manufacturer.
If anyone in power really wanted to improve airport security and the experience of using American airports, they’d dump all of the security theater in favor of the less-intrusive, more-effective measures most of the industrialized world already uses.
Wow they are really leaning into the fact that TSA is largely theater and nothing else, huh?
Oh, she definitely seems to be the type who is sure that everything she does is magically artful and that someone else is to blame everytime it comes out dreadful.
Nepo babies who can’t act rarely make art.
She shouldn’t be in any movies moving forward because she can’t act.
