Yeah, that’s what I said. They are ultimately responsible for the output of more than 300 people.

I’m guessing you’ve never had a direct report, or worked in manufacturing, or dealt with the financial side of a company with CAPEX assets.

Spoiler alert.

These 13,000 people have already said they won’t vote for Biden, I’m quite confused as to how this is a good move politically.

You mean Taylor herself?

Re-read my post again. No where did I put blame on Google, I was just pointing out an inconsistency in your argument.

I think the issues is that they are not just “suggesting routes,” they make and own the maps as far as I am aware.

It’s funny how easy it is to tell when someone attempts to comment on manufacturing, when they clearly have never produced anything in their life.

It was likely a press car, and they probably set daily mileage limits.

A far more common scheme is a ~5hr run, 350-400 miles, an hour or so stop for lunch and to stretch a bit, and another ~5hr stretch to the overnight, which is entirely manageable for an EV.

I’m still trying to figure out how you took my 3 good EV use cases, and turned it into calling me a child.

Pretty sure I was an adult before you were born.

If there’s no one to cook the food, or write the stories, or build the car, it kinda makes it hard to make a profit.

There are a lot of categories where EVs are clearly better, and with the right use case, they are fantastic.

SHOCKED! No one could have predicted this.

Not if there’s no menu, no kitchen, and no ingredients.

I don’t know about “hundreds,”

Chris Evans will always be defined as Jake Wyler.

It’s also not a real number and anyone trying to use it as a metric is selling you a load of bullshit. The “TCO” of my 1987 CJ-7 or my 2006 WRX will inevitably increase as I continue to keep these vehicles running.

when I was going through a time where I didn’t work, residuals kept the lights on
