Ha, the post just below yours is by JT-3K, who posted that exact commercial. What amazing timing.

Sure you can, look at Microsoft. Alpha and beta demos, public appearances of products long before they're finished, white papers on processes, etc.

How are you going to resell a digital copy?? Have you ever heard of someone reselling an iTunes song, Steam or Origin game, or Xbox DLC??

"Virtually the same...(but)" is usually a big problem in schools. I remember when I was in school and books that were one year forward or backward of the rest of the class's editions would be off by a few pages, or missing quizzes and tests, or missing charts and graphs, etc., despite the fact that most of the rest of

I dunno. Never been to BKLYN. But based on the story and the comments here, it seems like this is not exactly a new or unique idea; I'm just glad to have it around.

one's a phone OS, and one's a desktop OS. We don't expect desktop OS's to be restricted like that. That's the difference.

That bar sounds like Barcadia in Dallas. All the games are set to Free Play on Tuesdays.

Yeah, I definitely think that the Kindle will smoke all comers in sales due to Amazon's marketing might, and I'm not complaining at all. I mean, look what it's done for us in less than 2 full months: the average price of newly launched tablets (reputable ones, that is) was $400-$500 across the board, no matter the

I like being vulnerable to a wider range of software and games. Oh, also useable, stable Flash playback. Minor things like that.

I understand the need/desire for a gaming laptop (hell, I've had a very nice Sager and the only reason I don't use it anymore is that I got a decent ultraportable and a gaming desktop rig), but these Ultrabooks are great! Hours of battery life, super sexy,

Trollbait Titles much Giz?? I'm surprised this isn't a Diaz piece, with all the hyperbole it smacks of!

That looks like a lot of really cool, really short term fun. Like an Android or iOS game.

Was that Washer Dryer comment serious?? I could actually see some company thinking that is a good idea, ala Microsoft's ill-fated "connected home" devices.

Haha, eeeeexactly. Good point.

I C Wut U Did Thr.

I don't think that's really a challenge to figure out at all. The $199 Kindle Fir and the $249 Tegra 3 tablet will smoke the Playbook in sales every day of the week. RIM's already generated enough bad press for the Playbook that they can't dig out of it now.

Netflix looks great in HD on my Samsung plasma. I'm sure that in the point in the distant future where these resolutions become mainstream and adopted by not just consumers but also by media producers, Netflix and the like will be upgrading to the new "normal HD" resolution.

Was the sue-chefs an intentional pun?? Cause I like it.

They've been reformed as the KGB.
