Don’t call it a comeback. It’s been here for years.

Lester’s getting paid $25 million this year and has put up a 99 ERA+. It shows you where our society’s at right now with all that stuff.
“A guy fell into him and got nacho cheese on his arm and now he’s taking pictures and signing autographs. It shows you where our society’s at right now with all that stuff.”
A football team is NOT a Ranger battalion. Do NOT compare the two.
Nice! I’ve got an acct with FTW showing schedule times and all, but haven’t really utilized it yet. I haven’t had any problems with pubs with matchmaking, aside from them not having a mic, which I think would make the raid much more difficult. Either that or I haven’t properly figured out how to activate public voice…
I never said it wasn’t fun to play solo, as a lot of D1 was me playing Crucible all by my lonesome. But that’s not the full experience of the game, really. And without friends, you miss out on much of the high level content. I wouldn’t recommend someone buy Destiny just to pvp all day.
Damn proud to be an Oakland resident tonight. Damn proud.
That is a good point. Being new to playing Destiny, it’s hard wrapping my head around all the different ways to keep busy also how I can approach each of them. Still, it plays a helluva lot better than most beloved games imo, but a game with this kind of variety is gonna scare people who normally play solo such as…
Was it really a middle finger to religion though? I mean, it was clearly bitter towards humanity as a whole, but was there really an anti-religious message? I’m asking here genuinely. God is a weirdo jerk who would rather have his metaphor house filled with crazy people then spend his days patting mother nature on the…
I know plenty of non-religious (even anti-religious) people who still hated it.
Destiny 2 is a lot of fun solo. The campaign is a blast. Leveling up your first 20 levels feels good. Nabbing your first exotic is exciting. The gunplay is some of the best in the business. The Crucible can be exhilarating if you’re on a streak, and the 4v4 set-up forces players to work together. The Strikes, which…
Yeah, reading a ton of social anxiety in this piece.
Counterpoint: I spent 99% of my time with Destiny playing solo and had a great time. Matchmaking for strikes is almost always fine because, despite what this article says, most players aren’t assholes. You only need to go looking for people outside the game for Prison of Elders and the raids.
In a nutshell, it means you wash
“Back then, we called Donkey Kong ‘Professor Bananas,’ and he didn’t throw barrels, he threw disobedient Irishmen! Most of the videy games cost one horsepenny and were eight seconds long! All of them were about a man trying to marry a potato, which was the style at the time.”
Thank you for defending the honor of that most beautiful and valiant creature, the “gamer.”
“They used to call me Gamey McGame!”
