You should have stopped with “I’m not the brightest human being” and just looked up how tax brackets work yourself.

Um, if you aren’t incentivized at $5 million a year, the problem is you.

Why would they leave if they’re still paying 35-40% on that $5 million? It’s the amount above $5 million that would be taxed at 90% not all of it.

Hey dumbshit. Learn how tax brackets really work.

Progressive taxation. I mean real progressive taxation - like there should be a 90% bracket over say $5 million a year.

Well in all fairness, there are no consequences for him doing so on a comment board on Deadspin, so yeah, it’s acceptable in this case, I’d say.

Well when you simplify everything to fit your argument, sure it probably seems like that.

That makes a lot of sense when you put it that way. First, Colby to open the CTO position for Tyrell who could then hire Elliot to work on the inside.

I’m absolutely convinced Tyrell has been involved on some level from the start. When Mr. Robot said he’s not involved to Angela, he was clearly lying and since she explicitly said “since the beginning” I am taking that to mean his “no” was a lie to all of it. Though, we will see I think, because there is an episode

I know it was, because that was my intent. You want me to be spineless and not defend myself because you think everyone should see things exactly the same way you do? I find that mildly disgusting, but I digress.

Yep. I think many of us attach to some of Elliot’s rants and are turned off by some others. That’s part of the brilliance of this show to me. I think part of it is Esmail ranting to us and part of it is Esmail acknowledging some of his own crazy thoughts are in fact too crazy.

All of this and you didn’t even give us your grade?

I completely agree, I don’t want Mr. Robot to go down that route. The suggestiveness of it as a theme is interesting, but I think that’s how it will best serve the narrative.

I’m not saying the feeling they got from it is wrong, I just don’t think it deserves the anti-feminist treatment because a very flawed character made a comment that sounded like an MRA comment, because if you step back a bit, it clearly isn’t that.

I do this shit all the time?

Comet is a very inventive movie that I can totally understand people not liking, but it also wasn’t a conventional story.

And let’s be honest: we know this didn’t stop the plan at all. It’s just a start.

If I can provide a counterpoint...

I prefer some variety in my slasher victims, so I’ll pass.

Yes, because it’s unwarranted in this situation and I already expressed some regret over it. But you ignored me when I tried to meet you half way so you just went straight to the “rape culture supporter”
