They're not different concepts, only different words.

How are you on here all the time?
He didn't vote yes on repealing/replacing the ACA, he voted to allow debate.
"stark contrast to [her] reputation for good manners, class, and kindness"
For those of us with any moral compass, this seems pretty cut and dry.
I'm sorry, did Rick Ross not say something deserving of ridicule here? Is the article she commented on not about those things Rick Ross said that were deserving of ridicule?
Fuck off.
Well it was nice of him to give that nice speech about "debate" at the end.
Yeah, you're probably right.
I'd be lying if I said I felt certain on any level about that.
Still doing the fake grammar thing, huh?
"Don't blame me, I'm just a gullible moron! It's not my fault I share things indiscriminately without thinking about them!"
It's pointless because they have no substance. This vote for debate is a joke and it's just more McCain grandstanding while punching America in the dick. I doubt he's going to ultimately vote for repeal and/or replace, but it's still pretty frustrating to see.
I'll reserve judgement until they vote on the bill, but it's pretty disingenuous to think they have some actual, substantive bill up their sleeve so I'm not sure what he thinks will happen after "debate."
Ironically, this is about as accurate as political satire can get these days.
Remember when "heroic" used to mean something?
Not as much as passing the bill will.
Good.
I think you mean "Oh, thank god we finally have a 1,000,000th voice for straight, white men in late night! We can finally offload this shitty prize, congrats Jordan."
I can handle tension and action, I just don't need to see the explicit brutality of it anymore. I'm not judging anyone who can, I just have a tough time with it. It's not violence in general that bothers me - horror movies can be lots of fun, but war is too real for me to compartmentalize.
