No, not really. I had already explained why it wasn’t and he why it was fun for him. Just like running around a map and shooting opponents over and over to unlock a gun is not enough of an activity for tons of people. That is why you have different types of games for different people.

That is not true. I played games because I wanted to know something - or an “event” propelled me to something else and gave me a motivation to continue. This is more there is a mechanic in place and doing that is “the game”. Everything else is paper thin.

It been Meh for me... Have Zelda and a few Indie games. Mario is ok but there is no point in it... you do it because that is the game I guess. And the boss fights have had zero challenge so far.
