Car seats for kids were for the rich when I was a kid...

Rear-facing jumpseats have been around as long as the wagon. They were popular from the 1950s through the 1970s, so unless the concerned citizen was young enough to ride in the Tesla’s jumpseats, they’re just ignorant of history.

I set up a Raspberry Pi box with Kano OS for our kids (5 & 10) to learn coding basics. We started them with the Hour of Code, now they are creating Minecraft worlds using the same modular concepts. I’m an IT guy, but not strong in coding (though I’ve done basic scripting for years). This approach is great for kids as

Maybe Tesla should have called it it Otto-pilot?

You know you’re just helping to create a list of things to do with the new tech, right?

It’s new technology that most people will simply not be ready for. Having Tesla actually train drivers before allowing them to use the feature might not have been a bad idea...

Never underestimate the power of human stupidity.

I’ve done brakes, oil changes, and smaller stuff on our LR3, and yes it is cheaper (and time consuming), but things like a disk/drum rear brake system that had to be adjusted when the rotors are installed make it a hassle, even after you get it right the third time. Oil changes are easy but removing the skid plates

I do that with the seat belt sensors...

My wife loved her 1998 Discovery, and though it was the definition of British reliability, it was easy to work on and parts were cheap. You can hit speedbumps at highway speeds in the original Disco, and nothing (other that it’s own dismal reliability) could stop it.

I had a Tercel wagon in high school. Mom thought it better than Dad’s idea of a Corvair... My wife and I spent many a night “camping” in that car.

Early screen time causes ADD?

For me, LastPass is a far better deal.
