Agree totally. Aside from being an abject failure as a businessman, (I live in NJ, so I know all about his failed casino ventures) he has no finesse, can’t read social cues, or ignores them if he does, and is a complete and pernicious disaster diplomatically.

I think what irritates me the most about all this “breaking news” about sexual harassment and assault in all these industries is...everyone knew. This should be news to no one. Of course everyone knew the modeling industry was rife with abuse. People were just willing to turn their heads for a paycheck for decades.

Stated much more eloquently than I. IIRC Mark withdrew his pardon request due to backlash,he only wanted it to make it easier to get a liquor license. I’m not going to deny this guy a career, he served his time and straightened up, but a pardon requires more than that.

You’re right that it’s a hard question. Like maybe not for some, and that’s totally fine. And you’re right that he 1) served his time and has not reoffended since his youth (during which he had multiple violent and racist offenses), and 2) doesn’t seem particularly remorseful, at least publicly.

That’s a hard question. Mark served time and hasn’t re-offended so you could say that he’s been rehabilitated. I believe we have to give people a second chance after release, otherwise what’s the point of even trying to change?

I get the feeling Kevin Spacey is very disliked in Hollywood, for him to be ditched from all of his projects with this kind of haste. It’s like everyone was just looking for an excuse to be rid of him.

He will have died in his sleep. And the show will say it’s months later.

I saw that on tv last night and could barely contain myself anger. The Japanese are incredibly polite and would never make a scene in such a setting, so this utterly disrespectful garbage will go largely unchecked in the US media.
