Well let's hope GRRM has the longevity of Maester Aemon then

He's a sicko sadist who only gets off on the pain and humiliation of others.

Seriously though, how should the show runners handle the issue?

To state the obvious, there is no male body part quite equivalent to boobs.  We've seen lots of shirtless men, but that doesn't count as 'nudity'. Yes the dick to vagina ratio is still somewhat skewed, but I think that makes sense within the world of the story.

He was the commander, it would be weirder if she wasn't attractive

Well we really only see the brothels that the high and mighty lords frequent.  It makes sense that they would be the more attractive ones

So there's power in king's blood, but I guess it must be even more powerful if you leech it out of the royal dick. Either that or Melissandre just has some pretty weird kinks…

Shouldn't that be a Roose seal pit?

Well that's gets to the whole ridiculousness of the situation. At what point does a 'usurper' become 'rightful'? Is it just a matter of settling things on the battlefield? If so, how do shadow baby assassinations figure into it?

Certainly true in the real world. But if Stanis should be trying to put Dany on the throne if he really believed in the iron clad law of succession. Why did he support Robert's rebellion in the first place?

By 'they' you mean GRRM because things don't exactly move faster in the books either.

Because Stanis thinks all of the seven kingdoms are his 'by rights'. Nevermind the only reason he's even in the succession line is because Robert went on a rampage after getting dumped for Rheagar.

Awwww, Bearly

Remind me not to read any of your GoT fan fiction in the offseason.

Since I rather doubt HBO is going to show an 'ugly thick and veined, with a bulbous purple head' penis, I don't think that scene will be particularly bad.  Sansa will be freaked out and Tyrion will be nice to her.  I can't really see where else they would go with that.

And Brienne could totally be Lana

I don't know, usually when GRRM kills main characters, he leaves no doubt.  I'm not so sure Jon is dead (or won't be brought back somehow a la Beric)

he doesn't actually go through with it though, right?

I'm pretty sure everyone got the point like five episodes ago.

[spoilers, obviously] it hasn't happened through book 5, so don't expect it anytime soon on the show.
