I would argue it this way. Nobody gets value out of a $12000 setup. Audiophiles are largely crazy people who have no concept of diminishing returns (and that’s even assuming there are any returns past a certain point).

I contacted Netflix and they said it was fine to share a two screen account with another party. Me and my friend have been “sharing” the account for three years now. If tomorrow Netflix said “You have to be at the same IP address i.e. same household” we’d cancel. Disney thinks me sharing an account is a lost sale but

I don’t think anyone was thinking “wow, X performer is rolling in money, it’s ok to steal”...I think people think “why should I pay for this, there are a million avenues I can get off for nothing”...the bottom line is that digital distribution has both made and destroyed porn as a lucrative enterprise for all but a

I absolutely have empathy for people going through something as horrible as being a recovering drug addict. But here’s the thing, the manager’s job is to hire people who can show up on time, make burgers and be productive law abiding employees. That’s it. Their job isn’t to rehabilitate, to be supportive to a given

One year of Netflix is equal to the cost of like a premium DVD set (maybe two). On a per hour basis, nothing even comes close to streaming for bang for the buck.

I would 100% be one of those people tied into the cable system...no way in hell I would go up that thing knowing that if I slipped I was either tumbling into people or rolling off to my doom...if my phone is three inches out of my reach, I will buy a new phone lol

Well, I own MS Office so there is no reason to switch now. If some other file format came into play, as I said, I’d likely switch to something free rather than pay monthly for the newest Office 365.

Office is such a strange product. Like most people I use a tiny miniscule fraction of what it can do and if they hadn’t (like assholes) swapped from .doc to .docx a few years ago, I’d still be using a version even older than the one I use now...if they went to like .docz I think I’d honestly just swap to google docs.

I was actually just looking at Half Dome vids yesterday to decide if I could handle the heights lol

Youtube is invaluable for this. Lots of people vlog these days and so it’s very easy to pick an attraction and just skim through a few vids to see what the crowds are like.

They subsidize rides. That’s the problem. If it worked like you suggest, they would make money but then the rides would be more expensive and they would grow slower (or not at all). So they are basically paying part of your fare each and every time and that’s where the cash burn comes from.

Economics. China has cheap/skilled labor, lax environmental laws and lots of rare earth metals. South Africa had nothing that couldn’t be sourced elsewhere.

Given the worldwide shortage of pilots, I am sure he’s losing lots of sleep over Cathay possibly firing him. Also, fuck Cathay. How much you want to bet they have never fired anyone else over legal issues.

    No Tombstone???? Super disappointed...

I tell this story to illustrate how boring my father was.

    postmortum sb postmortem

I’ve worked with dozens of people like this over the years...I wouldn’t hire one of them...not one...they are always, without fail, getting next to no benefit from the extra hours. I absolutely refuse to believe that coaching a football team is that amazingly complicated (with a coaching staff of dozens) that anyone

yah that’ the moral. I eagerly await the shitfaced scammer from Nigeria to call Canadian police and file charges.

I once arrived in London and just the trip from the end of one terminal to what had to have been the furthest possible connecting gate at another terminal took 50 minutes and that left me panting.

Unethical life tip. Bring a cane and hobble your way on board first lol
