I was hoping against hope "A Dame to Kill For" would be better than advance word of mouth and it is for about, maybe, thirty minutes then it feels like what little air it had goes out. For the most part it does look great, but there is little life in it despite a great cast. Funniest part, to me, was realizing Mickey

Jason Miller is also in a pretty nifty '70's crime film, "The Nickel Ride". It's tough to find (I picked it up on DVD paired w/"99 & 44/100 % Dead"). "Nickel Ride" is really more of an L.A. noir as everyone in it is doomed.

"Constantine" (the movie) IS pretty damn good.

If that billboard is the worst thing people see on any given day in L.A, well that's a win.

I miss ol' 70s Burt. He did some great movies (I count "Nickelodeon" in that bunch) and then…

"We LET you score a touchdown!"

Great movie and, like the also great "North Dallas Forty", about so much more than just football.

The Hollywood Reporter wrote that "The Legend of Hercules" cost 70(!) million dollars to produce. WTF!?!?!

"That book should be in every home."

Most disappointing AND worst - "Gangster Squad". A complete disaster. Sad.

"White boy said I'd be trippin' and you know I don't go anywhere without my luggage." Richard Pryor ("Acid).

I had the exact same trepidation about "Umbrella Academy", but it's shockingly good (& deranged). Both volumes.

I haven't seen the TV series yet, but in the Marvel movies SHIELD is comprised of deadly dull corporate drones (even Sam Jackson's Nick Fury is a drag). I can't say I'm surprised to hear there are problems with the TV version.

"Psychedelic Jungle" belongs in everyone's record collection.
