Now get together with the gaming uber-nerds at Kotaku and link it up to one of those DIY wheel/pedals setups for Forza or Gran Turismo. Then you get more realistic sounds, smells, and vibration right in your living room, at least until you feel the urge to take a nap. A DARWINNER IS YOU!
It’s a big 707 horsepower pressboard pallet
... I’m gonna build me a fuel injected suicide machine!
I thought that crate was a challenger! Big, square, made of cheap materials and tons of horsepower made me confused.
I’ve never understood that argument. The “I’ve never needed to calculate a hypotenuse” crowd annoys me. If your intellectual curiosity began and ended in the classroom, there’s no help for you anywhere.
Thanks man...that’s why I’m here, and they let me write fun stuff too!
Goddammit, Tom. Everything you write is just gold, man. Never seen anything consistent about financial responsibility or true car-buying help on any other automotive sites.
This is what happens when a country has zero financial education in schools.
Fixating on a monthly payment as the “hurdle” for affordability is nothing new. Baby boomers with 15 or 30 year notes on RVs are a prime example.
I think it’s pretty obvious the connection between the two movies. Maybe I misread something but there’s clues everywhere. To me it seems like the same universe at the very least and jj abrhams was on Conan or something saying its a blood relative to the original cloverfield. As for the connection, there’s a scene…

You didn’t know if he was a man shocked by what happened or a crazy conspiracy theorist or perhaps a murderer or a combination of all three. Every scene had a palpable building level of dread and I…
To me, the ending made this film. We see that Goodman’s character was correct about the alien space worms, but incorrect about how to respond to them. If it ends when she makes it out of the bunker, then it’s just a kidnap-and-escape thriller — a good one, but something that’s been done before. The ending, and that…
You know what I particularly liked about this movie?
When he showed up clean-shaven after killing Emmett, my skin crawled.
Riiiiiighhtt.
I haven’t seen this movie yet, but I’ve felt for a while that Goodman is a great actor and really deserves more attention (and roles) than he gets.
Things got a lot worse not because Goodman shoots a guy, but because you realized that he shaved after.
Actually I think one of the best parts of the movie is where Emmett takes the fall for her and she doesn’t step up or help him.... And giving that we already know about her flaw, I thought it was funny as I was watching the ending thinking “Well yeesh this movie is almost over and all she ever did was keep…
