Quite entertaining...but this film suffers from the same problem as the Terminator movies: military robots are by definition better shots that any human ever can be. Even now we have drones with target acquisition capabilities that can hit a crow from three miles away. In an actual combat scenario against military

Duuuuddde.....all like....natural....and....uh...uh.....organic....

Hardy has been enabled and “protected” for some time, now continuing into his Dallas career.

This is as important a story as Deadspin has ever done. My contempt for Hardy, Jones and Goodell is matched only by my admiration for Diana’s epic reporting.

The day Reddit “identified” the Boston Marathon bomber is one of the low points of internet history.

Steve Williams served as Tiger Woods’ caddy from 1999 to 2011 ... [and] recently wrote a book called “Out Of The Rough” about his time with Tiger.

Asked how he knew what it felt like to be a slave, Williams said he used to have one black friend.

I grew up in South Carolina so I think I’ve got a good handle on what does and does not constitute being a slave. Something about making at least $8 million over 12 years, not including endorsement deals, doesn’t really strike me as slavery. Suck it up, dude, and while you’re at it pick up my fucking club.

Hmm, a Hasbro cinematic universe with crossovers?

In which case, let’s just go big or go home: Fast and Furious 8: Rise of the Autobots.

Lethal weapon? I’m too old for that shit.

I watched Lethal Weapon the other day. God, I miss when comedies could use curse words.

The desperate need to have anything with a budget bigger than the cost of a new car earn a PG-13 rating. I would like the occasional adult story handled in an adult manner without somebody having to please think of the children and how many tickets they might buy. The fact that Fury Road got made is better evidence of

Shakey. Cam. The bane of action movies *and* horror movies. But I suppose it means more work for shitty cinematographers who couldn’t compose a shot if their life depended on it.

I’ll go with bleeding out the color , it took years to get color film ,and now everyone want to apparently work with Black and white .

I’m not sure how I would label this trend... but it seems like the genre for ‘Horror/Thriller’ has been usurped by something far more violent and grotesque.

Studpid sexy vampires.

Remakes/reboots that redo the origin. They’re almost always terrible. The fact that one worked once - and in a series (Batman) where he had never actually had a proper origin film anyway - doesn’t excuse the dreck that has come in its wake.

The Matrix was a great movie and unfortunately led to a period of about 10 years where very genre film and TV show tried to copy it. We got a decade of Matrix rip-offs. Even good genre films tended to look superficially like Neo and co.
