I realized that before I wrote it, but the narrative strikes me as a bit libertarian and conservative politics are very contradictory.

Gotcha. I'm very confused by the appeal of the world Ubisoft tried to create here other than as a libertarian fantasy, however. I can appreciate the colorful sci-fi world of Destiny even if I doubt I'd like playing it, this baffles me a bit. I mean, it looks good I guess.

I approve of equal opportunity face shooting, but I do despise this bland realistic aesthetic combined with right-wing pipe dream post-apocalypse.

Otherwise, I'd have to think Ubisoft associated this original non-franchise IP with their Tom Clancy games as a cynical attempt to make it recognizable. Imagine that.

Everything I've read about this game seems to suggest that its politics are egregious and vaguely fascist (shady government defending cargo against less equipped minorities and poor people) without much self awareness. I'm really not into that and I find that aspect of this game kinda horrifying.

Bye, then.

Everything suggests that yes, this is the movie he wanted to make.

This movie seems like pure, unfiltered Snyder, so I assume it's his fault.

So you're a blankie too? I've gathered that The AV Club readership seems to have a troubled past with David Sims, but I like him and the podcast (ahem, Shyamacast) is great.

Yeah, the idea behind it might be fundamentally misguided, but I think that reading of the song is absurd and wrong.

I appreciate the usage of a good meme opportunity, but The AV Club hasn't made Play-Doh empanadas or multiple recipes using pet food yet. I love that blog.

I like reading Dennis Lee's food adventures. Read his blog, he's a nice (if slightly troubled) boy.

Even with most of the cast available as possible "suspects" you could see the killer reveal from a mile away and the few kills were boring and not terribly creative, scary or funny. The teen drama, arguably the show's raison d'être, was dismal and also failed to capture the spirit of the movies. This was a failure all

This is utterly brilliant, I'm so fucking tired of this routine. Thanks for this comment.

I'm glad you're externalizing your fight with the imaginary straw feminists in your mind.

House of Cards is awful. Sense8, OITNB, Jessica Jones and Bojack Horseman are some of my favorite shows of recent years, however, and all of them feature enough thematic depth. Netflix does pacing differently from most TV, but sometimes it really works.

Isn't taxes legally required crowdfunding?

That had some of the worst expository dialogue and dialogue in general that I've ever heard on a pilot. It was awful on almost every level and it had Jamie Kennedy in it, making it even worse.

I don't know how clearer can I get when I say that internet comment sections have no responsibility to presume anyone innocent. I have no idea what your second sentence means and this isn't going anywhere so I'm done.

Yes, the AV Club's readership is composed entirely of judges presiding over this case.
