While I definitely agree that the art direction dropped off between BTAS and Adventures of Batman & Robin, Kevin Conroy’s performance did not. He was great as both Batman and Bruce Wayne.

I found myself strongly empathizing with the Meseeks stuck trying to help Jerry with his golf game. In my job, I’m often dragged into impossible requests that go around and around and around until someone finally snaps and says “wait a sec...the problem isn’t US...it’s the person who asked us for this!”

So yeah, it’s a little stern, but there are a couple things of note:

I sympathize with Frank, even when he is sometimes a bit clueless. Part of it is that it’s not like there’s a book on how to deal with your wife being thrown back in time and tormented by a sadistic relative of yours who shares the same face as you. Not only that, but how ubiquitous is the streaming service? Will I be able to watch on my set-top/game console or my tablet, or will I be limited to just my PC. If I have to plug a laptop into an HDMI port to watch, it suddenly becomes a lot less appealing.

It reminds me of Artoo’s portrayal in Darths and Droids: that of a ruthless min-maxer out to game the system by any means necessary.
