I think part of that may be that in our current media-scape, we take for granted that everyone on the planet has access to a celebrity’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages, so we have a baseline comparison between those whom we perceive to be authentic and those we perceive as manufactured. In the 80's and 90's,

If he’s as bad as we think, that may be easier said than done.

An open-faced bacon sandwich, where I sub out bread for a lattice-work of bacon, is one of my favorite things ever.

My college room-mate and I did that for many years. I had flashbacks to freshman year upon hearing that.

The thing I love is that, even though all the people (save Eleanor and Jian-Yu/Jason) are really good people, what they are not is perfect, which is why you can have actual conflict and interesting interactions.

YOU GOT ME AGAIN! It's like he can't wait to take off that mask.

I'm a fan of replacing the Canadian bacon on a Hawaiian pizza with regular ol' bacon. So good.

I, too know a good dude named Trevor. Perhaps the problem is celebrity Trevors.

This is like a 10-year-old challenging Steph Curry to a game of HORSE, and then complaining that the game was rigged because Steph just kept burying half-court shots the whole time.

It’s HawkGuy.

Without Beren and Luthien, you don’t have the recovery of one of the Silmarils, which ultimately led to Morgoth’s final defeat. I’d say that, from a macro perspective, it’s still pretty damned important. I also remember reading it as a kid and thinking, “Hey, here’s a woman who is more than just a love interest.”

Kristen Bell's delivery of the line "I'm sorry you now have a permanently bulbous dog" absolutely slayed me.

Chidi led this relatively cloistered life, where most of his ethical issues were theoretical rather than practical. However, he couldn't truly be happy in a place where his moral theories were never put to the test, so a

Loved Checkhov's Couch at the beginning. I was watching the whole episode in anticipation of a couch beatdown, and I was not disappointed.

I saw it as she essentially beat him with verbal jiu-jitsu. She used his own raging ego against him, and refused to let him get under her skin. As a result, I think it was a far more resounding victory. She further exposed his hubris to the world, and are only serving to further isolate him from his allies.

This…this is relevant to my interests. I shall have to find the local German bar and see if I can score some fine Doner.

Tottenham gives me the right mix of misery and elation as a sports fan.

At least I didn't pick Arsenal or Man U. There is that.

I'm American, so my soccer identity is a little weird. I support my local MLS team first and foremost, but I've got an appetite for the game all over the world. In the Premier League, I'm first and foremost a Tottenham fan, but Liverpool under Klopp is almost always worth watching.
