Oh, there are a few RiffTrax episodes where it works spectacularly. Pretty much all of the M. Night Shyamalan films work pretty well, as do Star Trek V and the Twilight films.

FIELD TRIP!

Batmankov is the best!

Y'know, I wouldn't call this a rant. It's a comparative analysis of two books, one of which you favor over the other. I don't see the sense of seething, irrational hate that one expects from a true rant. This is too good for the "rant" tag. How about something like "Deep-Dive" or "Editorial"?

"You're not married, you haven't got a girlfriend, and you've never watched Star Trek? Good lord..."

It's also known as emergent dualism or property dualism. Chalmers talks about it a lot in "The Conscious Mind."

Yeah, Qui-Gon has a history of terrible decision-making. Consider the ridiculous wager scenario he sets up to free Anakin. Seriously kid, you sure this is the right horse to hitch your wagon to?

Wasted on a paperback, in my mind, as it'll inevitably get sun-damaged and gross in short order. Hardbound, though? That's another story.

The Mariners only migrated about a block and a half south, so I'm not sure it counts.

If you did it right, it would be gold. That being said, this is an incredibly difficult undertaking to get perfectly. For one, you have to find a way to nail the cast chemistry. You also have to figure out a way to integrate the narrative voice, which is so crucial to the charm of both the film and the book, and find

I love how Harry never wears a hat...except in cover illustrations.

I have a hard time figuring out how you can call someone of any gender who puts that much effort into making a costume and then puts themselves out there for all to see "fake." Nonetheless, people on the internet somehow found a way. Anywho, well done, cosplayers!

Terry Crews for Luke Cage - he has the physicality needed for the roll, plus his comedic chops enable him to add a wry wit to the proceedings.

One need only travel to our friendly neighbors to the north for proof that it is possible. My wife has an allergy to partially-hydrogenated soybean oil, which is in pretty much all packaged food state-side, so she was especially thrilled to discover that certain foods she can't eat here were suddenly edible for her up

Those gambling debts don't pay themselves.
