Developers can make games however the fuck they want whether or not Anita says anything about them. The idea that people should not voice their opinion on products or art or culture is crazy. Why does, say, Stephen Totilo get to talk about the game but Anita does not?

That’s not what she’s doing any more than like Pauline Kael or Roger Ebert were telling film makers how to make movies.

I live at the end of a 5 1/2 minute hallway...just so you know.

Reminds me of House of Leaves.

Exactly. Ghosters complain about the ghostees continuing to contact them/not getting the hint/not being able to read their minds, etc. It would be so much EASIER for everyone, in most cases, if there was a quick cutoff and true ending. Then the ghostee would not experience any of what you described above, and the

Yea! Why can't they just let these guys kill whoever they want for no reason at all in peace???

The old school sprite graphics where NOT chibi? I mean look at them compared to Chrono Trigger. But no I understand its the player characters that were chibi not the photo painting wonderfully designed enemy and boss still frame sprites.

Heck even FF7 basic went chibi for the running around sprites and some of the FMV

I’m torn because while I agree with this...in fact I was pretty pissed that I’ve had friends completely erase my bisexuality and make it seem like any time I expressed my interest in women that I was doing it for attention....and now they all seem to be jumping on the “omg look at me questioning my sexuality lolol”

Turn based combat was not the problem. Plenty of games had turn based systems and did it better than 7.

Part of what made it so much fun was breaking the materia system, like with multiple counters, mimics up the ass and all that good stuff.

No, the turn-based system isn't what made FF. Geez "fans" can be so clueless. Square Enix invented a new system for FF that's NOT decidedly turn-based. It's called ATB. It FEELS like turn-based but it's not. FFXIII had it but they made it hectic. I think FFXV is the first that's not going to have any form or iteration

The handheld Sonics were consistently good, I thought.

People get so upset by this type of speak but lets actually be realistic here and NOT shoot the messenger - At least up until the last few years many action/adventure and RPG games were designed to be marketed to boys of XYZ age. It’s not that girls couldn’t like/understand the games but they were marketed to and the

Final Fantasy is a title, you can almost consider it like “Dr Who” thing where the name is just a title given to an rpg experience that uses a majority of Square Enix’s tropes and creatures and ideals to tell an engaging story that also pushes the limits of RPG battles through different evolutions of the turn based

Let’s all keep in mind that there's another game company out there that does pretty well making cute, family-friendly games that turn out to be a heck of a lot of fun. I'm willing to give this a chance.

That could very easily be interpreted as “...[the character thinks he is] the sole survivor of Vault 111.”

Or... the baby was cryogenically frozen? I don’t see how the same condition can’t apply to the baby that applies to the parent. In any case, it really doesn’t matter. No one knows anything about the plot yet.

Plus its Firaxis, they have my full support.
