@thenewperson is now Commander Apparent. I'm on a spaceboat.: The land of cow worship.
And they're just launching, with great difficulty I might add, 3G in my country. I feel so backward. :(
Besides anti-competitive behaviour, what about other forms of throttling/traffic shaping? They could argue that they don't have a competing model to YouTube or BitTorrent, so it ain't anti-competitive to throttle speeds to these sites/services.
@MattyMattMatt: First of all, thanks for the approval!
"Performance improvements" over the past year haven't stopped making my CPU temp soar every time I watch a video. Worse, in my Chrome, if I have 3+ tabs with flash in it (running or not), it crashes. So I'm not too excited about v10.2. Not sure if this is related to their GNU/Linux bias or not though.
Not as cool as the iPhone-camera-under-the-door hack where you can see the entire room.
I wonder what kinds of ads would be targeted towards these toddlers.
@Juker: Haha yeah, it's almost like there is no competition there. Can't wait for them to pick up MeeGo though. :D
@SKiTz: Ah, I see. That's a shame though. I guess we can all agree that it's almost impossible to put a smartphone to max use thanks to exorbitant carrier charges. I own a decent nokia smartphone, but I'm stuck to using 2G because 1) 3G isn't yet available on my carrier (yeah, 3rd world) and 2) if it did, I'd be poor…
No love for Symbian? :(
