By my hype/backlash algorithm, the cycle should get us there in 12-18 months.

I mean, I don't even like Whedon or think he's a feminist, but that article is indicative of the type of thing I have no interest in reading. It's a kneejerk, poorly-researched think piece that tells you how to feel about something without making a compelling argument or really doing any quality thinking at all.
