That Tomb Raider definitive edition, was it that good? I thought all it was was the pc version maxed out and a new face skin texture for Lara. Was it really much different from the pc version? I originally played it on pc and thought it was amazing looking!

Well if they where videos on the original they should just make them videos again. There’s no point in in game rendering them if there going to stand out and look much worse then before. At this point who knows what’s going on with that remaster.

From what I heard is there upgrading it to Unreal Engine 4, it was prior on 3. The only problem was that not all the visual effects came intact with there port and imo I’m sure it’s a time consuming process to get those effects back. Imo this sounds like more work then they had probably assumed it too be.

Personally I enjoyed Origins more then City.

If they’d do the only correct thing and rehire workers from the original 16 bit games and give us a complete classic retro Sonic the Hedgehog. I’d be more then happy to see 16 bit limitations if they could give us a fun sonic game for once!

I’m sure porting versions while still creating the game was one of the biggest mistakes. I’m sure that added much more confusion then they needed to deal with. Make no sense to do things that way.
