When the old machines are at something like 100 million owners/buyers and the new ones are at only 20 million and below it makes a huge reason. Hell Activision could have ditched the new systems totally and probably put a huge dent in sales for the new systems, if they wanted to be dicks.

I remember when Resident Evil 4 came out, I had tried it at a gamestop and thought it was immediately the most impressive game at the time. I was also afraid it wouldn’t leave the GameCube, I now have this game on 4 consoles other then the GameCube. How things change.
