I’ve played other versions of sim city but the snes version is definitely one of my favorites. I think it had the simplest gameplay.

I remember being disappointed with the boards they had for battle mode in the n64 game. I remember putting in allot of time in battle mode for the snes game, but not so much in the n64 one.

Much better looking then what I remember Nemesis looked like in the live action movies.

I was actually looking for this phone on my last phone upgrade! Had to settle for the Samsung Galaxy 5, couldn’t find it anywhere. Would have been awesome with emulators.

Yea it definitely looks like copying, but being a designer we do look at allot of inspirations. There is a possibility that he saw this design a long time ago and it stood out so much that mentally he recreated it and forgot that he saw it a long time ago.

Again I haven’t played it in some time but I don’t remember allot of moments like that in it. I more remember flying around. I don’t think anyone is going to confuse this with a Mario game.

It’s been awhile since I played it but I don’t remember it at all being a platformer. I think that might have been a very small moment in that game. But I might have to play this game again to relive it.

Someone should make a documentary about the whole 90’s arcade scene. I remember being addicted to arcades back then. Midway, Konami and Capcom made there best games during that period. Sega and Namco also did awesome with the beginning of the 3d games.
