Walking by that demonstration in NYC was just uncomfortable, there were nothing but men stopping to stare and take photos at these protesters the whole thing seemed so pervasive and I felt like all it was doing was attracting the male gaze and sexualizing the breast more so than normalizing bare breasts in public.

I can see two different motivations to this. 1.)
