It’s there in the 1 series which is cheaper. It is RWD though, so I suppose this new one is for FWD models (because Active Tourer atrocity have it as well).

Is there a particular reason why BMW ditched the “joystick” gear stick for this thing? It looks like it came straight from a ‘01 Accord. Is it done on purpose in FWD models?

funny you say that because 159 diesel is one of the most reliable modern cars there is.

Fair enough!

Great point!

As a former Alfa owner, this review put the tears to my eyes. While I haven’t driven this car yet, I totally know what You mean.

You could say the airliners are the same story - the autopilot flies 99% of the time. And yet there are still two pilots in the cocpit.

I would buy the shit out of this if it costed 50 grand in my country.

In Europe almost all new cars now come with a turbo petrol engine, almost nothing is naturally aspirated anymore. And yes, those small turbo engines are total garbage. I heard stories about the 1.4 TSI lasting 50k km.

I find it so hilarious that Acura tried to cash in on the X6 craze by making an almost direct copy and failed so horribly. Who would have thought?

WIRELESSLY

And it’s available on Android!

I loved that game!

I saw the newest Beetle the other day and got thinking how they totally missed the point of the Beetle with it (twice), and how it should be more of a Fiat 500 competitor, instead of some bloated Golf based grandma cruiser. Your description is almost exactly what I was thinking about, perhaps minus the rear mounted

You can get the X6 with the same diesel engine at least in Europe though. Don’t get me wrong, I hate SUVs, but fuel economy is not a huge difference between them and luxury sedans.

Yeah I agree. I cringe everytime I hear somebody actually liked it. There is a difference between an entertaining big action film and a fucking stupid film.

I usually hate small crapboxes, but having drvien the shit out of a Panda on Mallorca, I actually kinda loved it.

The surely had to drop the ball somewhere. I’ve owned a 2012 Citroen C4 (Xsara replacement) for 6 months after I got so sick of it’s abysmal handling I had to trade it in. What a snoozebox.

Yeah, I still wouldn’t be surprised if this whole thing was just a publicity stunt. For what? Maybe we’ll find out soon enough.

Yeah, somehow not always.
