Ironically, in my opinion the OS is the worst part of Apple's otherwise top quality products.

" In both cases, at $300 Apple would be asking people to pay significantly more for a product that offers, on many fronts, less."
The site You linked into does not exist, but I guess it would be in Japanese anyway so no problem!
Meanwhile in Poland the NFC payments are rolling out countrywide this week!
I think I'll wait for what Google will soon show up. The rumors are about a 99$ Nexus 7 and a new 199$ tablet. Apple will hardly beat that, plus the Jelly Bean is just so much better of an OS.
Now that was a fucking stupid comment.
I prefer the One X also, just because it looks sleeker. I wish I waited a month more when picking up my Xperia S this April and get this one instead.
I find it hilarious that other websites do review on Jelly Bean for GS III which features things this phone will likely never even hear off, and yet you whine about calendar icon and call this the best smartphone in the world.
I saw one few weeks ago and I actually thought it looks very modern even today. Very ahead of it's time design.

My thoughts exactly.
I own one actually, the 2006 GT. Now I understand the stigma which is coming from the Alfa's past, but they are much better now IMO. Sure, VW would make them more reliable and quality built, but would this be better for the brand? After looking at Seat - I have doubts.
No sooner that yesterday I've read on Engadget that there is also a HTC 5 inch coming as a Nexus within 1-2 months which should kick some asses...
Are you sixteen or what? The world hasn't seen something like a camera phone since 2002, and even then they could both make and display pictures so crappy it wasn't really useful until 2-3 years latter.
Recent Alfas are so much better than before so it's not really that much of an issue anymore. Furthermore, I'm afraid VW could make Alfa loose the soul as they somehow did with Lamborhini. And to be fair, the unfamous 2.0 TDI engines made me not trust the VW's reliability myth so much lately.
It is not a full comparsion since the 920 is not yet available but some conclusions can be taken out: http://blog.gsmarena.com/apple-iphone-5-display-compared-to-nokia-lumia-920-has-its-most-advanced-title-taken-away/
In the US - hardly but maybe it's passable. Where I live - in Poland - it's totally useless. Nokia Maps are lightyears ahead of this, not even to mention Google's.
Great article, You should do much more of these! I love the history of computers so much! I can only imagine what was the feeling to interact with such a machine in the 1950's. I bet they were totally clueless what these will evolve into. I also wonder how some of those retro supercomputers compare in computing power…
