1. The book is appropriate for young readers. They likely won’t grasp the larger themes woven into the story, but the story also stands on its own without that anyway.
If you follow the behind the scenes of GOT through the years, you’d know they are entirely mediocre. Experienced showrunners could have done SO MUCH BETTER than what we got.
Best performing, which doesn’t necessarily (and in this case, absolutely doesn’t) mean best quality.
Popularity=viewers and I’ve seen the stats and GOT far exceeded anything HBO has ever done (and frankly, will likely ever do again).
