Maybe I read incorrectly, but it didn’t propose specifically low-income housing around mass transit, just more housing period, the assumption being the more housing, the more likely low-income housing can exist. Specifically, housing gets more expensive around public transit (in LA at least) because of the convenience.

Whether he’s black or not, Steve Harvey has proven himself to be an unrepentant misogynist. That makes him trash in my book. I will never support someone on the sole basis of also being black AT THE EXPENSE of my culture, ESPECIALLY WHEN  he is outright denigrating black women. He does more harm to my community than

Uhhh, you can throw this whole garbage human away now, thanks.

If it’s open, I’m sure it’s “open on both ends” in the way some women do when they feel their man is going to cheat and they just want to save face. Khloe isn’t hooking up with anyone else, let’s be real. (I don’t say this cruelly, she just doesn’t seem like that type.) What I sense from her is that she’s been deeply

PRICELESS

I mean, if we’re going that far, why not “don’t date/have babies by these fools when they clearly show a pattern of behavior consistent with fucking around.” Based only on the end of his relationship with his last baby mama, this one’s on Khloe. That said, I’m convinced they have an open relationship. CONVINCED. He

Butttt... he didn’t abandon them? He and Khloe aren’t even married, and it doesn’t even look like they’re breaking up! *shrug*

True North, True Saint, True Dream... I see what’s going on here.

My mother loves his show and I keep trying to tell her that he’s trash, but like many older black women, all she can see is a black man who turned a sad life into success and she wants to support that. I respect that impulse, but... ugh, he’s so gross and misogynistic.

I get what you’re saying, but the point of this entire incident is that you don’t need more information, it happened exactly the way people are saying it happened. Your question/comment is akin to people asking, after an unarmed black man was shot, “yeah, but what did he do?” It doesn’t matter - this is way beyond an

Lost in Space wasn’t horrible, but had a difficult time balancing tone.

If you don’t mind, I’d love to hear more about this. What kind of details? Small things like not picking up after oneself, or bigger things like how one manages money? I’m always interested in learning the things I need to pay closer attention to in order to predict future behavior. Also, what age do you think was too

I completely hear, understand, and side with her on this point, but can someone explain to me whether she has a strong legal case? Discrimination would work if male cheerleaders had to adhere to different rules from female cheerleaders, but since being a football player is an inherently different position from being

After God left with his sister? I had to stop around season 9 because the spark was just gone. Seasons 2-5 were just utter magic. After that, the decline began.

There are ~5 TVs in my gym, and at least one is always tuned to sports. I don’t usually (ever) watch sports in my real life, but when I’m in the gym and watching (soundless) basketball/football/soccer, all I can think is “These guys work so much harder than what you’re doing now. You can do this, keep going.”

This is one of my major film/TV criticisms: WRITERS, TRY HARDER. Conflict happens in real life ALL THE TIME when all parties involved make smart decisions. Not all characters have to make silly/inconsistent decisions for the purposes of pushing the plot forward.

I actually think the male lead being cardboard was a purposeful choice. Think about it - if he had charisma, the story would play much differently. As it is, it plays like all these events are merely happening to him and he’s reacting to them. If he had real charisma, it would look like he was an opportunistic jerk OR

Oh, HuskyBro, I was ready to get super defensive of your comment...but you’re not wrong.

Hahaha, this is a copy-paste of what I said to someone further up the chain who said the same thing as you:

Man, I loved Smallville. It came out when I was in the 6th grade, and of course I had this massive crush on Tom Welling, but beyond that, the show was just so much fun. Reminds me of how I felt about early Supernatural.
