Why not sell some Jeeps and buy a hemi swapped newer Wrangler??

I don’t care about single occupant cars using the carpool lane as long as they’re traveling at a decent speed. What grinds my gears is the slow-ass goddamn buses. Sure they CAN drive in the HOV lane. But SHOULD they?

What’s the automotive equivalent of a meth addiction? This.

God damn it.

Reasons like that are why im thankful Facebook was just getting started when i was graduating college. Myspace was around for plenty of embarrassment, but we all know what happened to that.

2011 was before you turned 18, damn kid.

and even dressed up as Vince Neil for Halloween in like 2011.

Open wheel, or open container?

Since it rotates due to the air moving over it, it literally is a turbine. Turbo is an acceptable name.

(Unlike the Porsche Taycan Turbo, which is electric and has no turbo.)

Japanese DD freight trains still employ the same device for their windows. Extremely effective in the snow/wet regions of Hokkaido.

Still in use today, people.

If you really want to blow your mind, just look up some public records about you and where you live (if its a house).

I take it you never googled or seen anything about climbing Everest. It isn’t really closed off to the public. You can approach it from two sides to climb. All you have to do is pay a fee. Everyone in the parties lives are in danger. Look at how long a sherpa (job title not ethnicity) last at their job. They tend to

If you climb Mt Everest, you’re only risking your own ass. If you drive at triple-digit speeds on public roads mixing with traffic you’re risking somebody else’s ass. You seem not to be able to make this distinction. The fact that nobody died or was injured is just dumb luck.

Oh, give me a break.  If you want safety, stay at home crying in your pillow, let the real men have at it.

As someone who grew up in the 70s and 80s, reading Car & Driver and seeing the movies as a kid, I was fascinated by the distinctly it’s-against-all-the-rules-but-I’m-doing-it-anyway mentality of the Cannonballers. The stark reality of actually doing this mad dash is a world away from the comedic Hollywood portrayals,

I became an avid C&D reader [then subscriber] only a few years after the successful Yates/Gurney run. That rag had run several articles, over the years, that were either dedicated to or referenced the Cannonball Runs. Even at that age I knew these races were a bad idea but the irrational adrenaline junky in me still wa

Frankly I would much prefer to have Alex on the roads than many/most everyday drivers. He’s at least planning, paying attention, etc. Not sitting in the left lane going 10 under, changing lanes wildly without signal, or driving a car on bald tires with metal pads for brake material.

Leasing is so prevalent, you’d think the processes would make it abundantly clear...
