I was actually more interested in their lore. They’d created this mysteriously good world where it seems like you’re just playing a video game and then the protagonist finds some sort of advanced technology at the end.

They were like the first games that made people think “hey maybe mobile games CAN be great.” but I can’t imagine that they’ve aged well. 

The major issue is in many ways in the name of inclusion they change the one character who was already inclusive. So instead of having a sensitive and multifaceted male character who breaks expectations (that still exists in this genre) we’re now going to have a pointless controversy with none of what made that…
