This is fan-goddamn-tastic, and one of the many reasons FF XIV will continue to get my monthly sub fee for years to come; so many callbacks, so much lore-based fanservice, and a pretty goddamned robust MMO underpinning it all.

...if only they could do something about player housing (and maybe not making high-end

I’m excited, I’ve wanted Zeku in a game for years

I dunno. When Man on the Moon and the Larry Flynt movie were out a lot of critics showered major praise on her acting. I think there’s even an embarrassing quote from Roger Ebert that suggested the greatest legacy of grunge might turn out to be Love’s acting career.

DLC is almost always planned before a game is released, for various reasons. (Many departments, like writing and design, are done with their work on the game weeks or even months before ship, and so they can start working on DLC then.) Wouldn’t you rather have the information before you buy? Especially if you want to

Dude you have so many gods to kill and justice to deliver savor it and this crap will be sitting around waiting for you. You have at least a year before Ivalice gets a conclusion.

Church of the Sociopaths with a well regulated sense of risk vs. reward. Being helpful is often times worth more over time, so being helpful is most often the path taken. Making enemies is counter productive.

Although I also gave Cowboy Bebop a college try and never really took to it, I will say that Sean’s model is a bit flawed if he can just bail on something. I mean, let’s take the term literally and pretend this is a college course and you’ve been assigned something. You can’t just stop reading Pride and Prejudice

Cowboy Bebop is really a show that deserves to be watched all the way through, certainly not ditched after two episodes. That has nothing to do with it being an anime. It is just one of my favorite stories and series. It has a bit of a slow-burn buildup that really pays off. To write it off, or write off anime in part

This is a dope idea, and the art sytle is great! I’m uh, going to buy this for myself, as a checklist for all the great games I have in my backlog and that I’ve glossed over haha.

May next year fulfill all their needs

Only way to get the industry to make any positive change so that it doesn’t have to be a burden to work in is through collective actions like these.

Y’all. I know what it’s like to be a gamer and brokedy broke, but if you’ve got a PC capable of running that emulator, you can afford to buy a copy of the game (NEW, so devs and localizers get their cut).

Wasn’t a big part of the issue that the emulator was being advertised using Persona 5 characters? Not just that the game was being emulated, but that the artwork and characters created by Atlus were being prominently used to advertise the emulator as well?

Atlus is within their legal right to force a DMCA takedown of footage/references to the game, but if they think they can stop the emulator, well... lol, good luck with that. Emulators tend to win those court cases.

Our decision not to promote the donation outside the U.S. (even though we intended to donate the money) caused many to question where funds from other territories were going. Answering that direct question itself could have triggered compliance obligations or put us in violation of cause marketing laws in some of

It was pretty supported at the time, especially when all the big name VA’s were pushing it out there. But at some point, it stopped? I mean you can’t really blame gaming sites for not having “update” posts basically saying “Welp, nothing new, moving on”

In my mind, just different. You have a developed character and voice attached to it, then outside events prevented it.

And in this game, I’d rather see a toggle switch on which Chloe voice you get. Why dismiss what the other actress did when it wasn’t her fault in the slightest?

Just my two cents, but actually was pleasantly surprised. It’s not perfect but it’s pretty close to what I expect from that character. I genuinely wonder how many people who weren’t aware of a change will even notice it.

I’m of mixed feelings about this. That would be great for the fans, but for the current voice actor it’ll be telling them “there’s the real voice and you were the cheap replacement.” I’d still obviously choose Ashly though.

That would be a complete slap in the face to the current cast of BTS, though. Some of these brand new actors getting shelved so they can get the originals back would be devastating to their careers that could potentially springboard from this game. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Hannah Telle back as Max in the bonus
