I think the writers sometimes forget that just because the actors aren’t teenagers the characters don’t suddenly become adults. Not that this story wouldn’t be troubling if the characters were adults as well.

I’m really confused about Chic’s “clients.” Between his “scars” and the hostel pimp, it makes way less sense for him to be a cam guy than to be an actual prostitute. It almost feels like that was changed between episodes.

Kevin, Josie, and Cheryl are consistently pushed to the side so we can have a thousandth scene of Veronica having brunch with her parents. It’s a total waste.

Morphing the Serpents into the remnants of a slaughtered tribe is gross and doesn’t make any goddamn sense, because the gang has never been linked to anything such as ancestry. It’s such a WEIRD choice to pivot like that.

And Jughead is just the worst these days. Where is all this righteous anger coming from?

I still love Veronica, in spite of her questionable taste in boyfriends, poor business ethics, daddy issues, and destroying poor Josie with minimal provocation.

There are no “try-outs” for wrestling. You need bodies in that sport, so you generally take all of them you can get (I wrestled in HS and college, plus I coached in HS). You have wrestle-offs, in practice, to determine who goes varsity, who goes jayvee, and who sits, but I have never heard of cuts in wrestling.

So I was at a Wye Oak concert in a small venue and my plan was to pull out my phone and snap one picture with the flash off.
