It’s a terrible meme people like to lobby about for fake woke points online

She has, and always will be, someone that thrives on drama and attention. Gaiman is no saint, either—he gives off the snarky vibes he does for a reason—but he’s also never ever ever been one for the limelight or putting his life on show in the same ways that Palmer built a career out of.

I’m so glad he’s living his best life.

VR sucks. Have yet to play a game that wouldn’t be improved by not being VR.

The money made by those movies, first, goes back into the film arm of these companies. There’s levels and degrees of separation—you don’t just pull a cool million from Wonder Woman to fund the next big comic book event starring her; that money goes right back into building the film franchise/advertising costs/etc.

The reason the audience for comics—and I’d hazard, really, that this only applies to the Big Two—has lessened is because comics as a hobby is more impenetrable to new readers now more than ever. Every few months we get another twenty-title spawning shake-up event that, along with prohibitively costly price of single

The story of FF:T becomes astronomically better when you play the War of Lions upgrade on PSP. (You can also play Vagrant Story as a sort of “coda” to FF:T, as it chronologically would take place after FF:T and deals with many of the same themes on a more personal level.)

The game really slows down toward the end, since the last chapter is basically a straight shot of corridors and boss battles that you’ll easily beat your way through if you’ve done every sidequest in the game. I know that’s what basically killed my replay of the game on DS once I got to the Ocean Palace ending segment.

Currently playing Breath of Fire 4 because I never beat it the first time around, and I’m loving every minute of it. Forgot how fun the cast and story are, and how unique the world feels because of its mix of Japanese and Chinese aesthetics. Really wish they’d hurry up and make a new game, since Dragon Quarter was the

it’s because the negative comments are always the same chorus of: “This comic isn’t funny because of X,” with X usually amounting to “Because I don’t think it’s funny, personally.”

it’s not worth it.

you have very much come to the wrong comment section to complain about the subjective humor found—or not—in these comics.

After watching gameplay of this, I’m really feeling like this game is more than just an homage/riffs off similar aesthetics from Dead Cells, like.

Because Kotaku loves to praise both and criticize both when it fits the narrative they are trying to push.”

Obviously, bringing up your situation to someone who had to live through a particularly bad version of it—to the point of going to therapy for me to be able to forgive my parents, well-intentioned though they were—is a bit of a trigger for me. But, that’s on me, and not indicative of you doing anything wrong outside

I wasn’t being passive aggressive; I’m literally and honetly admitting that I forgot not everyone hangs out around teachers as much as I do—because of my job—so I should’ve done a better job at explaining how I was using the world “window.”

Thank you for clarifying! I don’t read the comic outside of when it’s posted here, so the extra context is useful.

Kind of why I used the word “window”, but I get that not everyone is surrounded by teachers all the time and I should’ve explained what I meant better.
