Ah, yes. The old “This is so easy a caveman could do it,” argument. Why am I not surprised. Let’s break down what went into making DBZA

I think the Dr. Manhattan comparison can really only go so far. I haven’t read the Oneshot, but assuming everyone else knows he has the power and public record of Kira’s activities years before are available, I feel like having the Death Note isn’t that powerful. In fact, like you said: it actively gives every…
I didn’t even know it was an actual term, it was just the combination of words I felt got my point across.
You seem to be confusing a vocal minority with a majority.
There was a very vocal majority-minority of fans who were vehemently opposed to the new changes to the lore that would have made WC3 more in-line with WoW. And another, much louder majority, who were complaining louder and louder that the game was taking forever to be released.
You were expecting that, I was expecting that; I think a few people were expecting that—but Blizzard promised a bunch of other stuff as well that either never made it in the game (revamped in-game cutscenes, for examples) or were so vehemently opposed (making the lore more in-line with WoW) that they were clearly…
MTG Arena certainly has brought out the frustrated game designer and raging “this fucking sucks you can’t design worth this” nerd out of me, ngl.
Reforged is a masterclass in promising too much, delivering too little, and why sometimes its good when publishers and companies don’t listen to their rabid fanbases. Only Peter Molyneux could’ve done it better.
You are like, either being willingly obtuse or haven’t played WC3 in ages. The Culling happens after Arthas has spent several missions (and in-game weeks, almost months) chasing after Kel’Thuzad and the source of the undead plague. When he gets to the point in the video shown above, he’s already seen thousands of…
Sure. There’s also his xenophobia, misogyny, fear of racial mixing, antisemitism, fear of common scientific practices and advancements, and intense fear of people to take into account as well.
It is so overtly racist that it really baffles me that people need to point this out like Lovecraft tried to hide it. I literally read all his stories with the basic assumption that it is a horror story where the main characters are also racists.
In the words of someone who defended it once to me:
Well, that’s what happens when you don’t finish your schooling and think non-Euclidean geometry is, like. Scary.... because doing maths and thinking too hard used to give you the vapors or whatever.
...Stephen King.
He helped invent an entire genre of literature, basically. That sounds the short of it.
