Edit: actually, let me try to be nicer

It sounds, to me, like they’re trying to roll out three different automated systems at once, and these are the growing pains—one system to police streamed content, and tag it as against TOU if too much skin/video that looks like skin is shown in any context; one system to police emotes/text; and another to pick up

I think, while it’s ultimately a very fair comparison, that knocking the game for its so-so writing/world building and lack of narrative options (and/or lack of lore) also invites/necessitates that we also talk about the developers behind the games we’re comparing it to.

HELL YES I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO PLAY THIS GAME; here’s a link to the direct where this was announced:

Not every reaction has to be a positive reaction, a nice reaction, or tonally neutral just because another human being created a thing.

I said “to get this out of the way,” specifically because we always have this same runaround each week. I’ve yet to meet one person in the comment section that likes the comic outside of, like, two or three people who either: a) excuse how much the comic is hated for reasons you bring up, or b) say it’s funny because

CLUELESS

That’s exactly what Ash does tho, in a twisted sort of way—give up everything he has to start from square one, only it happens every time he /loses/.

There’s so much unthread ground in the series that’s pushed aside to focus on the main conflict—like, yeah, this is a story about a ragtag group of people rising up to save the planet, but it’s also a story about fighting endless corporate greed with what amounts to ecoterrorism; a story about a literal Captain

My source of income has nothing to due with it; I just—as much as you hate the negative aspects of fandom—am a huge proponent of fanfiction and fanart as ways for aspiring creatives to get their practice or foot in the door. As a way for kids to, from a very young age, enjoy things like writing and reading, because

To be fair, I did come out of FF7 wanting to know way more about the events of stuff like the War in Wutai, how the SOLDIER program came about, who else was involved in Cloud and Zack’s life/what made Zack so special outside of his relationship with Aerith and Cloud; but, I guess that’s just me.

But I dislike the addition of characters into remakes because their very existence requires plot, story, background and events to all be altered entirely.

@CoastersPaul

And should, like all things, be judged on its own merits once the game has come out, and not disparaged because “it looks like fanfiction,” lmao

I think you need to slow your roll and understand that fanfiction—as both an exercise in writing, and its very inclusion into various Literary Canons across the world—has as much to do with IP theft as me putting on a costume and pretending I’m Spider-Man.

I think a Cait Sith frog with a crown riding a huge toad Mog would be the best and most hilarious option lmao

No, refuse Dx

I literally cannot wait to see how they threaten Don Cornello

Bruh, it’s been how many years since the game has been released? Along with updates Tifa models?
