We all know Rock the Dragon is the true OP for DBZ

Love that people keep finding ways to recreate Triple Triad, as it is perhaps my favorite mini-game out of any mini-game I have ever played.

It’s.

Copy-pasting a comment I made elsewhere:

You have a talent.

To be fair, there’s no much DIFFERENCE between weapons. For all the damage stuff like BLEED/RADIOACTIVE/FIRE do to YOU, the different types really don’t have any meaningful impact on how you kill enemies—fire will apply a DoT, but it does paltry damage even in solo (without bosses getting buffed) and unless you’re

The RNG is a real downer if you want to collect anything more interesting than what’s available to you at the start. You can buy the other two starting weapons and armors, and find an SMG in the starting area after solving some “puzzles”—but everything else? Either randomly found in the world, or needs to be forged

Solo is easy mode except for having to fight bosses and needing an extra gun around to deal with adds.

I enjoyed playing the game until the negatives of it started shining through like hellfire.

For casual fans, I’m pretty sure Gygax still continues to be the “face” of DnD in much the same way that Stan Lee is considered the “face” of Marvel comics even though overwhelming evidence exists to the contrary.

Which is why stories like these need to be told, and retold, again and again, so new generations don’t forget their “fore-bearers” and think all of these things they love just magically sprung up from the depths of some coporate think-thank.

“Grognards and oldschoolers,” yes, that’s it exactly. It’s not new to people who were adults in 2006 and may have grown up in the 70s-90s playing and living DnD.
