It’s a difference in how the game loop has changed. A game like a free runner has you start-stop/reproduce the core game loop multiple dozens of times in the span of minutes, but a game like BoTW takes longer to reproduce the same effect. The kid is interpreting “success” in the game as something that takes X amount

It’s not directed at you personally as a parent, chill. It’s directed to the thought of “I wish I had played less video games as a kid, because then I would’ve done more of X and Y.”

Who knows, maybe I’m scarring them for life because they won’t get Fortnite and Minecraft references that their friends make.

I wish I had played fewer of them as a kid.

As such, it really gives me the heebie jeebies when I see a kid zonked out in front of an iPad or Switch instead of interacting with the people around them.

Ok

I haven’t read the comics, so my working knowledge is direct from the games and Day of Sigma OVA

Megatron was a member of the proletariat who only turned to violent revolution when pacifist means and trying to educate the population (via books and treatise he wrote) were met with violent, government sanctioned apartheid and racial cleansing carried out by the 1% of cybertrons elite.

@gunflame

Looking back on my original comment, I should’ve gone with “boring” instead of emphasizing.

And I’m not asking for anything new; I’m literally just saying I find the idea boring.

What would you say you haven’t seen before? What’s something that, when you saw it, struck you as a brand-new idea and not a riff on an older concept or just two different tropes put together?

I genuinely curious. What’s the last “new” thing you’ve seen?“

#WilyDidALotWrong

But do either of them know why kids love Cinnamon Toast Crunch? 🤔

It was all pretty much Wily’s fault for developing the Maverick virus, yeah

The first part is aimed at you, asking you to elaborate your stance.

That’s fair. And I’m not saying I did it better, or anything; the line in the trailer is decent for something that sounds menacing/pompous, after all.

I will cop to the idea of there being “nothing new under the sun,” but “tortured scientist with science based super powers or gadgets working for the wrong side/being exploited, who also happens to be crazy,” is not exactly bleeding edge.

Oda Nobunaga being represented by a Heroic Spirit that changes form between different time periods they lived in and genders they were depicted as depending on their mood or what they’re trying to achieve.

@mouf

That’s fair. I will say that I like him being part of Talon, since OW could use more prominent antagonists.
