You can now turn Rein’s shield back on quickly and break the hook. Before, you could use Roadhog, and time your hook when Rein brings his shield down, just in time to hook one of their squishy heroes. It was one of the counters to Rein’s shield. It wasn’t overpowered and it took timing and skill to pull off.

But......it doesn’t mean that. At all. It just means its the character you focus on practicing more than others.

Just because a lot of people mis-use it doesn’t mean you should too.

Woo hoo! One less alternative strat to following the meta of “who breaks whose Rein’s shield first and wins?!” Can’t wait to just sit there shooting Reins shield while they shoot ours with no alternative strat to counter it.

Why does everybody think “maining” a character means that’s the only character you play?

Is anybody else blown away by the ratio of how much content they had to create for this versus how much there actually is to do in it?

You act as if opinions can’t be bad and should never be refuted, which is ridiculous. Just because something is subjective doesn’t make it invincible to criticism.

Okay, can people please stop making assumptions that I play Hanzo every single game no matter what? I didn’t say that. I just said I main Hanzo and when I play him, even at the appropriate times (when our team needs DPS and the other team’s composition is weak against Hanzo) the team will still blame the loss on me.

You missed absolutely nothing. I tortured myself getting through this game and couldn’t even finish it. I stopped right before the last boss and just watched someone play through it online.

So what the hell is the point of your post?

It’s not even really about meta, what it’s about is that Hanzo and Widow are very high skill cap heroes, a mediocre Hanzo or Widow is a liability—if you’re mediocre at either of those characters, you might as well play McCree or Soldier and be more effective.
