Yes.
Yes.
It's not that hard to do a decent love story. KOTOR did it just fine. It's all in the dialogue (player selection and how it's written). Hell, if you want to throw in the physical aspect of it, just follow Witcher's lead.
Missing:
Is that an insult or a critique? If an actor doesn't have the stage presence to pull the character off, doesn't that deserve criticism?
" O’Shea Jackson, Jr., doing a good impression of what his father would be like if he had little to no screen presence"
Considering availability of content is one of the major contributing factors to piracy, yes, yes I do. Making it free only entices your potential audience even further.
If you want to combat piracy, and I mean REALLY combat it, taking steps like I mentioned not only helps, it's an imperative. Don't let those fools off the hook for their refusal to evolve and adapt.
It's pretty simple, really. You honestly think Disney/Paramount/WB/Sony/et al can't offer free versions of all first-run content to the consumer on any device? All they'd have to sell ads on the free versions (as well as presentation limitations, like sound and resolution). Then they could make the non-ad versions…
Fuck Vimeo for not using the DMCA safe harbor allowance to inspect the claims for validity. It would have allowed them to throw these stupid ass requests out.
He's just ahead of the times. Of course, we're still waiting for the distributors to catch up.
I liked it better when they were called smileys.
"Prince is just maintaining complete control of the process and using tidal as a sort of distribution service."
That looks fucking awesome.
Headly: "What have you got in your mouth?"
Wolf in The Talisman. Good lord I was upset after he sacrificed himself to save Jack.
I'm in a similar boat, but mine was with the Jeff Bridges/Jessica Lange King Kong. I was absolutely inconsolable after I watched it, even tho mom sure did try. She kept telling me it was just a movie, and it made me cry even harder.
LOL. Sorry. Didn't mean for the scrutiny to bother you. Rock on with your bad self.
He helped write it and he directed it. To blame this mess solely on the studios comes across as whining on Trank's part. Maybe it's just me.
So there's one. What about the other gaffs of Trank's creation?
Enough of one to believe Trank, apparently.
