It wasn't a cougar?

An excuse-making coward. That's who's running Sony of America. I'm surprised the Japanese would allow such a spineless motherfucker to lead the American arm of their company…

This list is better than the "Best of 2014" list. Are you guys sure you didn't switch the two articles up?

SHIELD turning against Cap (well, the HYDRA aspect of it), his best friend seemingly returning from the dead. Oh, and said best friend is also trying to kill him. And then there's Cap operating under the guise that Fury is dead.

No Guardians or Winter Soldier? Nonsense.

I'm so sorry. I'd have to play cell phone smash with that dude.

"You've got mail!" Oh, how I don't miss that at all.

I was actually thinking of Smokey from Friday. ;)

Jewel and yes, she's just… Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn.

2014 marked my return to the comic book industry. Naturally, said return started with Free Comic Book Day. From there, I was once again hooked.

He didn't kill the Balrog in LoTR. That particular event wasn't detailed until Silmarillion. In LoTR, the battle is only referenced in passing. Furthermore, I shouldn't have to read another book just to get a description of how awesome the gun is when it's fired.

You can't incessantly talk about the power of the gun without actually showing it shoot once or twice…

I was disappointed that buildup lead one to believe there would be this climatic battle between two of the more powerful characters and Tolkien's world, and they just sat there, looking at each other. That was one of the last times he could've let Gandalf actually cut loose, instead of relying on references to

For example, while the world of Tolkien was more vivid, King and Straub had much better execution of action and plot in The Talisman than LoTR did, again, at least to me. Tolkien was a master at building his world and setting the table, but I think there a quite a few writers who are better at carrying out their plots

Any writer who actually follows thru with the build up? Like, for instance, the battle between Gandalf and Witch King. They stared at each other. Whee. Once again, I completely acknowledge his world building, but his execution of the plot was lacking, at least to me.

Hard hitting?

Can we finally move on from Tolkien now? I know this is blasphemy, but I've always considered his world a little overrated. Yes, he did a fantastic job of creating the world and all that inhabit it, but his execution of the the actual plot and story left something to be desired.

I don't get why people retweeted and favorited BB's apology. Does that really make you feel like you're apart of the process?

Fuck. Yes.
