The April Fools Day episode of Rick & Morty returned down -76% from the season 2 premiere.
I can only hope this regularly scheduled episode will fair better

Became an Uncle Today.
Sort of psyched

Reviewing Historical Schedules: NBC Sunday Spring of 2008

I just discovered that RT comes with my cable package.
It is between the Trinity Broadcast Network and Daystar.
I saw a bit of it and it was just bizarre.

Not sure why that was a thing, they have a disclaimer that some contestants have been preselected in the credits every episode.

I visited my mother and she was watching old reruns of the Cash Cab on GSN.
It made me wonder what game show aficionado @avclub-eac75edc18b8546c46893fe4b75ab995:disqus feels about Cash Cab?
I love how there is basically no pauses at all between questions, no need to build up tension, or stall untl a commercial break.

For friends in college:
If I hung out with someone on a Saturday night, I was quite open about not staying out all night because I was going to church in the morning.
I'm not going to drag anyone to it, and I won't give unsolicited recaps of the sermon, but if someone gave me shit about going to church on Sunday, we

Is a lack of interest in Cloud Atlas an end all for Mr. Potter in romantic endeavors?

Reviewing Historical Schedules: NBC Tuesday Fall of 2006

I've been absent for the past week. I have been running a crew of teenage detasselers for ten hours a day, starting at dawn. Despite giving me weird corn related PTSD, it pays about as much as a schoolteacher makes a day.
Downside is I don't work tomorrow and I'm literally falling asleep, trying to type this after

Zoo airs at 10, not 9.
C'mon, AV Club

A lot of the issue is that networks rarely make good faith efforts with these type of summer shows.
Under the Dome was a big success, and CBS tried to replicate it with Extant and Zoo, with declining results.
Now they barely promoted "Salvation" which premiered tonight.
I'm still amazed that The Night Shift is still

An amazing fact:
Freeform, formerly ABCFamily, Formerly FOXFamily is somehow STILL contractionally obligated to air The 700 Club.

I used to defend him as a "good Republican"
An apparently mythical creature.

And they might all do better than Zoo and The Night Shift, so scripted programming is not necessarily the answer.

The Elderly Couple in The Notebook is adorable and the period piece aspect makes it redeemable to me.

I have a better one!
Couple weeks ago I watched The Godfather for the first time on either TNT or AMC, cannot remember.
Either way, it took like 5 hours to watch to on TV, but it was a good watch.

Tonight there is a new Beat Shazam!
It was just recently renewed on FOX. And is their best new summer show since Masterchef (ratings wise).
They've had so many flops.

I'm starting to believe that Chuck Grassley is a menace.
He said so much nonsense as chairman today and was just reading out conservative talking points in the Senate and on cable news.
Iowa going for Clinton would not have changed the election, but if Grassley had lost to Patty Judge, we may have been in better hands

Riverdale.
Not a long avoided thing, but I didn't watch it during the regular season. I thought it looked rather awful (and I was never a big Archie comics fan)
But I had been watching the CW's Friday reruns of the show and got interested in the show. So I actually tracked the show down online and watched it.
It was
