The Party of "Small Government for Me and my Cronies."

Does Pence go the same program for Emoting Like a Human that Boehner does?

Also, I think the most poignant thing he's said thus far (on multiple occasions now) is simply "LGBT rights are not on my agenda".... which is one of the most OFFENSIVE and downright belittling things he could have stated publicly about his own fucking taxpayers.

This is perhaps the most humorous and spectacular case of backpedaling out of the GOPT in recent memory...

Pence admitted he hadn't been expecting "this kind of backlash"

This guy is the definition of a yahoo. The legislature too, and whatever intern wrote the bill using his 6th grade civics background. I've read some bad bills in my experience but they usually don't make it out of committee because people know better. Or because no one gets anything out of it. Who got a kickback

Now playing

In case you need a little levity with this Indiana shit show:

I've been very pleasantly surprised by the national backlash against this horrendous law. I just wish there was this much of a rallying cry when it comes to women's reproductive rights. I mean, look at that Indiana woman who was just sentenced to 30 years after having a miscarriage. That should terrify everyone!

Republicants: Small government...until they run into someone they don't like, then happy to use as much government power as necessary to make their lives difficult.

If we take this idiot at his word that the law doesn't allow anyone to discriminate against anyone else, can anyone describe a single other situation in which the law has any legitimate purpose?

...protect the vitality of religious liberty in the Hoosier state

Dear Gov. Pence

Shhhhhhh, you hear that Mikey? That is the sound of your political career being flushed down the toilet.

So when he signed it and invited threaders of three of the top anti-gay organizations in the country, he had no idea? Not intended to discriminate? Which "deeply held religious belief" (current code for discrimination) would not require discrimination? Was someone making people stop praying? Or taking away their

Okay, sure. It will not, then, allow these businesses to deny services to people on a religious basis. Just, you know, jobs and stuff.

He needs to get rid of that stupid law and he needs to also get rid of that awful barbaric feticide law that only seems to be targeting WOC (the only two people who been prosecuted under that law are not white). Honestly more people need to speak up about that law but that is not happening, also more need to speak out

The law doesn't give anyone a license to discriminate. It just says that when they do, as long as it's because of their religious beliefs, its totally OK in Indiana. Why won't the lib'rul meedja tell the truth as we demand they see it?!

I love when laws are made, to keep from meddling into peoples' business.....Republicans- they hate the government, but yearn to be a part of, and create laws the do the exact opposite of helpful.

For fuck's sake.
