It reminds me a little of the “Straight but Not Narrow” T-shirts and buttons for “Allies”. It’s like - they want to be SURE we all know that THEY are not gay. They want credit for being tolerant, but make sure everyone knows THEY are NOT GAY. Super-hip and open-minded - but gay is something that they are NOT.

Especially since organizations like this need the advertising a lot more than said individual most likely does...

Yeah, I thought the same thing. Just wear shirts for organizations you believe it and leave out any reference to your race makes better sense to me.

White women who want to broadcast their politics (in addition to actually taking action, ahem) could also just wear a t-shirt from Planned Parenthood, the ACLU, Amnesty, SPLC, CAIR, BLM, NOW, NPR, DNC ... the possibilities are endless. Just anything at all besides almost literally #notallwhitewomen.
